Hi all!
I am currently in Texas as I'm writing this to you all and my grandmother has made a slight improvement thanks to all your prayers. You'll never know how much I appreciated your concern and prayers for her. My mother is in Sri Lanka staying with her at the moment so I'm here with my aunt and my other granny in Texas. Is Gord working on a new album or is Harmony his last album the last one for now? Hope all is well! I'll tell you it's getting mighty hot over here what a relief. I love the spring weather.
God bless. Always your true Gord fan, Maheen.

Hey G. 20! I'm sure (at least for awhile) that "Harmony" will be it for a spell.
It hasn't even been a year since it came out and Gordon is busy with concert dates right now.
I imagine when the touring is done and he's had a good rest,he just might delve into another project. Now that we know he's okay,he's an artist that still has things to say and as long as he's here....you can bet he wont pass up the oppotunity to say them!

I couldn't agree with you more Borderstone! I'm so glad that Gord is do ing so much better now I was saddened to hear he was ill. Has he cut down on his touring now or does he perform a lot of concert every week? I know some perfomers do a hundred shows per year but I don't think Gord does that many now does he?
Maheen.

I saw someone post that there was going to be an album with 17 tracks, all live cuts from Massey. I hope that on it he'll have an acoustic version of East Of Midnight...

Actually, I'm a bit suprised and of course delighted by the agressiveness of his touring schedule this year. He's wisely decided to take, I think, July and August off, something like that. I bet the better he feels, the more he wishes he could rerecord Harmony's vocals. Having never meant them to be more than demos, and his penchant for rerecording, it might get him back in the studio to do one or two new songs to go with the upcoming live set mentioned above.

I'm happy he's touring again toobut I've checked his itinerary and Phoenix is not (yet?) one of his stops.
If I get to the Vegas shows,it would be nothing short of miraculous!
I think Harmony is just fine the way it is,he shouldn't change a thing.

RE: Work on new album.
Gord has always downplayed such rumors saying something like, "Well, there might just be another. Haven't decided yet."
Which comment put a shuddering-shimmy down my back. But, ain't no 'bout a 'doubt it, yonder comes another.
Whew . . . .
