Digging through a bag of old cards and letters, I came across a Ziggy cartoon by Tom Wilson dated April 12 1974. Ziggy is sitting in a hospital bed reading the following note:

"Dear Ziggy,

Sorry to hear about your accident. I'm sure you'll be all well soon ... but just in case ... would you leave me your Gordon Lightfoot albums?

Luv, Suzie"

Nice little web site you have there Al BUT...

you say
"Placing your order over the phone is the quickest and it gives me the opportunity to answer any
questions and describe our unique products in further detail."
As a bit of I hope constructive criticism though surely it must be difficult for potential customers
to do that if the site as far as I can see fails to disclose a phone number!!

HA! Yes John. I no longer do tanning as a hobby/side business due to traveling all the time but keep the site for myself. That is why there is no phone number or address listed anymore. The Fur Shed is defunct, but still floating in space.

By the way, that barn was built in 1853 and it still has the original slate roof as you can see in the picture.

That's a cool Ziggy! Yes DMD3,that's when Gordon was at his best! Note the date in the lower left hand corner of April 12th,1974. That's just about the time Sundown was released as an LP and single and not too many months after Old Dan's Records. I'm guessing cartoonist Tom Wilson is a fan too.

Oh Ziggy,my distant cousin. You never call or write anymore! I still wonder why you shaved your head??? Was it so we wouldn't be identical anymore? Later!:cool;

You know, I must have clipped that panel in anticipation of seeing Gord in concert. I saw him on May 3 1974 at Monroe Community College in Rochester, sitting (on the floor) about fifteen feet from the stage.

Neat barn...I always loved old barns! I am sorry to see all of the old barns in our area are falling down and they are being replaced by those metal pole buildings...boo hoo! Metal pole buildings just don't have that much character.

There are some really good books about barns being written now, Oma. You live in Illinois also, where the famous round barns exist, they are so quaint!!! Not many of them left.
