Does anyone else think Jason looks like Ricky Martin?

Thanks Char. There's also a clip of Idols signing autographs for Meredith.

Okay, I hope now that I have seen and heard the CI's that you guys in Canada will keep us updated on who is eliminated everyweek and who wins. I hope Jacob leaves next week (which should have happened this week) I think I like Kalen best, and Jason and Shane tied for second. Jason has a great voice and I like his accent coming out from time to time. Shane really hit the mark though on The Way I Feel. Theresa is good but her and Elena tend to scream a lot when they sing. I don't care for the up and down and loud and quiet. The climbing the vocal ladder so to speak.

Watching the same video clip that LSH was referring to--Is that GL's sister Beverly following GL and Meredith around?

oh, the older lady? I didn't even think of that! I guess it could be...I saw the nanny and Meredith and Gord, Elena's always in the way...grrr. Maybe she should have left a week earlier, so as not to block our view of Gord. oops, did I say that outloud??

oops. sorry to mislead...nope, my niece was at the CNE, that aint her ramblings, she actually doesn't seem to speak, to me anyhow, lol (i was supposed to take her and my two nephews but i found out it was kids-in-for-free day and Idol day also, so no way) she just saw a bit of the show from afar and then directed me to the link when i asked what they sang, etc...i used to work there for the 3 weeks straight for 3 years, but have now only gone once in the past 20+ years, anyhow, too much useless info, lol

well, since i'm off GL topic, here's something fun, imo...a link to that Jacob dude's audition for Idol...she also sent me Theresa's audition but it's kinda in an e-mail file that i can't seem to detach or associate with a link, anyhow...enjoy or move on, or both
http://209.213.252.42/

ps) i think Gord and i should judge next year in place of the two big boys on the left

ps2) brink, he has one more dance move than i

Well that is right up there with me. We'll dance at Massey Hall okay? It will be short dance and won't make much of a breeze.

hmmm, you got me thinking... do folks dance to gord tunes? well, i guess folks can slowdance to almost anything steady and lovely but i was was thinking of other styles

i know, all the lightheads get in one of those chain dance formations like they do at weddings for Locomotion... except we'll start it up for CRT (not a good idea, eh?)

ps) yes, i think so too, bru...and that alone should have gotten him voted off by now

ps2) you're right, lsh...i just rechecked the 'elena fat-head' video, actually i spotted Sean Cullen also...i think he was sitting behind the Hawk for the show

Yes they do! My husband and our daughter did a tearjerking (at least to me ) father/daughter dance to "Fine As Fine Can Be" at her wedding this past June.

Diane, I suppose that means your whole family are Gord fans. What a great song for a daughter getting married, or graduating.

And may I say again, it was some of the best music I've ever heard at a wedding reception! It might be pushing it to say that the whole family are Gord fans....Diane did a great job picking out all sorts of GL songs for the reception. My husband and I sat with Diane and her husband, and Susan and John, and grinned ear to ear everytime we heard an openning chord.

sundown...hmmmm, maybe the tribute version but i'm the last one who should be picking out good dance tunes...although i can't stop swaying when i hear Always on the Bright Side

everyone must be sick of idol posts BUT i will say that the Gord theme was a tuff act to follow

i think the top6 seemed pretty great and now the top5 were just lame, imo... you do the math

but i did just realize that i actually can dance better than 4 of the top 5, pretty sad
