Circle of steel and All the Lovely Ladies are two of my favorite songs. However, Gord didn't perform them in the two concerts I've been to. Anyone out there who have heard these songs performed before?.

I have heard All the Lovely Ladies, but I haven't heard him sing Circle of Steel. Unfortunately Circle of Steel is not one of my top Gord songs it reminds me of In the Ghetto by Mac Davis and Elvis Presley, I didn't like that one either. Anyway I have heard that Gord has a couple set lists that he rotates through and he will bring one out of the closet from time to time, just keep going to see him when he comes back, and ask him to play them. I have seen him play a request or two.

I have never heard circle of steel in concert, but, /I have heard "all the lovely ladies" at almost every concert I have been at...I really enjoy "all the lovely ladies", so does my husband.
Roseanna, this should be a song that even your husband likes, right?

Yep! He sang "Ladies" at the concert I attended last August! I think he "might" have done "Steel".

GSS:
IYCRMM is about the only song by Gord that my husband really likes. He tolerates a few more, but I quit trying to introduce him to more songs because of the sarcasm I have to endure. What can I say? I love him in spite of the fact that he's musically retarded.

Rosanna:My brother tells me that GL makes him want to sleep! Others have this outdated idea of a singer like Gordon is most likely to be either boring or corny. I gave up trying a long time ago and realized that it only matters that I like his music and people will just have to discover it on their own. It's a lot like religion or faith, you can talk and talk to someone about how great it is,but unless they truly discover it themselves there's no convincing them. Borderstone, outta here and hangin' out with Canadian Deer! (Boy,now that's corny.)
