Well, everyone here has lots of opinions so let's see how this one goes!
What do you think Gordon's most influencial album was?

To whom?

Not a challenge, just an awareness that "influencial," as "favorite," has so many perspectives.

To the label: $$$$$$
To the casual, average joe: Hits
To me: Shadows - because of "Shadows."

Good thought producting question. Thanks.

The Rez beat me to the punch. I wasn't sure of the definition of "influencial". For me it would be "Shadows". Gord's best songwriting. This album gave us songs that showed maturity without age or innocence. And GL still had the voice. That incredible growl that speaks volumes. Don't get me wrong. GL is still an amazing songwriter, but he's lost the voice. As much as I love the songs on "Waiting For You", his voice is shrill and hollow. Not sure if some of is in the production, but I know it's mostly due to age.
"influencial" for Gord? That would have to be "Sundown". For obvious reasons.
