Do I see a little facial hair resembling the re-growing of a beard? Or is it just the pixels playing tricks on me?

No facial hair that I can see. I think what your seeing is the back of his hair curling out and it looks like it's connected to his mustache. Doesn't look any thinner to me but who know's?

You know, that was my first impression too jj, that Randy has lost a lot of weight. I finally got to see the Guess Who on Sept. 13th, two days after the terrorist attacks. It was a sold out concert, but there were lots of empty seats due to peoples heavy hearts Joe Cocker did the warm up to a less than jubuilant crowd, finally breathing a bit of life into them. The Guess WHo came out and did a great show, with a huge USA chant from the crowd during American Woman. It was a moving moment out in the audience, and had to be for the band also. I would love to see them perform again, a great group.

Yeah, I knew the hair curling from the back was just that, but, wasn't sure about the side of his face. Couldn't tell if it was shadow or whether he's trying to grow a beard, which I hope he doesn't at this stage of the game. I don't think it would be right for him.

Speaking of Burton Cummings and Gordon Lightfoot, do any of you have the CD where Burton tries to immitate Gord? The song is called " Gordon Lightfoot does Maggie May" you know that song by Rod Stewart? Haven't heard it in awhile but Burton preambles it by saying he sang this in front of Gord before even recording it and GL just laughed his head off

Get a load of that suit. Pretty threads there Gordon and well tailored. Very nice. I believe I've said before, I likes a man in a suit, yum.

Gord - that album "Burton Cummings-Up Close and Alone" is wonderful. I've seen Burton "up close and alone" twice since tat album and a few times over the years prior to it. His renditions of Gord doing Maggie May are priceless. He did it on the Much Music "Up close and interactive" as well and I still crack up. Rick Moranis planted the seed for it as Burton says. Gord seemed to really show his affection and respect for burton and randy and it was very touching to hear him salute other artists of a differnt genre who paved the way for other canadian artists. It must have been a surreal night for randy and burton. and a well deserved honour. they rock.
even if Kale won't let them use the name "Guess Who" and he's on tour with some no-names using the band name...dipwad that he is....
