OK - talking about it is great but doing it is better - going to a Lightfoot show that is ! So who's going to what show in August. We can't say hello to one another if we wait until after the show to say we were there, LOL.

My wife and I will be going to Wolf Trap on the 17th and to the Keswick in Glenside on the 18th.

If you'd like to say hi we'll be in Row D seats 7 & 8 at Wolftrap and Row DD seats 101 & 102 at the Keswick. I'll have a Hawaiian shirt on with mighty short hair & glasses.

Hope to see you all somewhere this year !

Gteat idea Al and one that I had been mulling over the other day. at this stage there is no
time to arrange a customised corfid badge (like I did for those going to Hamilton last
November. But it would sure be helpful if all corfidians made up some sort of identifying
badge (or even wear their Hamilton badge if they had one and still have it which is probably
what I will do .Otherwise a simple piece of card with just corfid written as large as possible
would suffice and could be inserted into any old badge holder you might have or simply held on to your person with a safety pin. Then if another fan comes up to you, sees your "badge" and asks about corfid you can help spread the gospel

Pictures and reviews, please, pictures and reviews. (For all of us unfortunate isolated souls.)

Jbt and I will be at the Keswick Theater in Glenside on Thursday, Aug. 18. We're in row FF, seats 108 and 109. I am SO looking forward to it. Sounds like we'll be a couple of rows behind you and your wife, Billw. See you there.

I'll be at the Keswick in Row F Seat 111. Looks like we'll all be behind each other. I'll make up some kind of a nametag. Probably "Hello my name is..." Can't wait!!!!

Some sort of nametag sounds cool, just funny enough to be cool. John I have my Hamilton badge and I'll wear mine if you promise to wear yours. "polar bear on my 'right' ", correct ? On another note maybe we should pass out "corfid flyers" because I know the show is a virtual sellout and most of the ticket buyers have never been 'here', it's a shame.

Bill

P. S. The Keswick is one of those venues that give you a "program" when they seat you. Check it out - it's a great keepsake with the date and picture on it.

If anyone's going to be in Glenside early enough for dinner you should try 'Athena' - just the other side of the street from the show.

Hi Everybody,

Really full of anticipation and looking forward to seeing Gordon Aug. 17 at Wolf Trap particularly since he is back in singing form after recovering from his serious illness. I have seen him a dozen or so times over the years and he is always great, although one time I remember he played Constitution Hall and, disturbed about the sound, he walked off after 45 minutes. I got to meet him back in the late 70s when I interviewed him and I will never forget that experience! He is simply the most poetic, exquisite songmaster.

I'll be in serious, but loving, envy (is there such a thing?)

My one & only this trip was Cerritos, but that evening keeps me warm even now (right, Johnny?)

On the 13th of August, I'll get to see Ian Tyson at McCabes in Santa Monica. That ain't too shabby (as they say somewhere - I forget.)

I'm gonna ask for "Home on the Range."

Bless You Each and All - Big!

When you get back home, I figure you'll say:

My Lord, Wasn't That a Time!

Interlochen-Tonight!!! 7:30. I'm even dragging along my reluctant husband who is not a fan. Do you believe it? NOt a fan? Is there such a person? I could not find any one else to go with me so he wins my extra ticket. I'll try to write down the set list and pass it on, though I'm not a great writer like some of the others that posted after a concert.
I can't wait!

Hi Bev,

sounds great - quite a drive for you too! We're meeting old friends in Pittsburgh and heading with them ( also Lightheads ) to 7 Springs Saturday morning.
Where are you sitting?? Maybe we really should wear a badge or something, just to make sure we don't miss each other. Will you stay overnight at the hotel? We all could meet later at the bar then and try to convince Gordon to join us...

Claudia...we'll be almost right behind you in Row B. My husband, Kerry, and myself have seats 15 & 16. Brian and Gloria have seats 17 & 18. I'll be the one with the big dopey grin on her face sitting on the edge of the seat.

We do have a room reservation for Saturday night at Seven Springs. We'll definitely need to get together. That means you, too, Brian and Gloria!

I'll say hello to you and Brian when we took our seats and after the concerts we all meet at the bar. My husband and our friends will be there as well - sounds like a lot of fun. I can hardly wait!

I'll be at Wolf Trap on the 17th with son, Brian. Still don't know where we are sitting!! I'll have my front row loge tickets with me...just in case :D I'm assured we will be "better than that!" and maybe even "BETTER than that". OK, sure, fine!!! I just know I WILL be there!!

BillW/Elizabeth,
Won't be joining you before the show. Another son, his wife and a grandson are up from Texas next week. I will be visiting with them before the show at the home of one of my daughters who lives close to Wolf Trap. However, I'll try to find the Hawaiian shirted fella in row D to say, "Hi".

Can hardly wait til Wednesday!

I'm looking forward to Saturday Aug 13th. Don't have my seat # in front of me but I know they are 28 rows back in center right. Wish I had better seats but I'll take what I can get. I refuse to take my husband (not a fan), so a good friend is going with me. I can't wait!!!!

Hey Rez,

Ian Tyson played our concert series here in San Diego last night. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! He sounds great and the two guys playing with him are as talented as they come. The three of them put on an incredible show!
