Draft Gord for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

Greetings fellow Gordheads! Alright, I have had it with the slight that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has made in not inducting our man to date. The RnR Hall's inductee nomination and voting process is tightly controlled and, frankly, is not a fan-friendly process. We've talked about this before here and I am now - officially - taking action! I am kicking off the "Draft Gordon Lightfoot" effort here and now. Shortly I will let you all know the website address of the DGL sight where you will be able to sign the virtual petition and learn more about this effort to bring enlightenment to the Rock and Roll Hall's induction process. In the meantime, if you want to be included in future email updates of our progress, just send your addy to "sayyestogord@yahoo.com"

I'm right behind you Michigan! In fact I brought up the same subject in my thread titled "Ah,How About Gordon Lightfoot?" which got a virtual ocean of replies! I'll be waiting for that petition and I'm glad someone found a way to get the ball rolling! In my opinion,the R&R Hall of Fame needs to drop this "vote in" non-sense and just give these people their due. They certainly wasted no time in 1986 when they inducted Elvis and about 10 or 15 others at once! Again,good scouting! Later!
