Borderstone our Borderstone where for art thou?
to paraphrase the other mighty Bard
(Romeo, my Romeo... where for art thou?)
you know the ancient Brit of whose wife it was said "Anne Hath a Way with her"
A little while ago,(December 22nd just after our friend in Phoenix reappeared having appeared to
be Missing In Action, or maybe Acting in/on a Mission,I asked him to sign in to my Lightfoot page
guest book again and leave me a private message with his new address (As I had something to mail
to him).I do need to apologise to him because, during his absence I did forward his old address to Matthew Bullis in Phoenix, thinking that Matthew might be able to track
him down (and also that it should be good for these two keen gordfans to meet) then later I sent
the address to two other gentlemen who were threatening to fly to Arizona to conduct a house-to-
house search for our friend). Anyway nothing has yet appeared in my guest book so this is a
gentle reminder B. Alternatively and preferably, I noted that you recently were accessing corfid
from a friend's computer, So assuming that as would seem very likely your friend has access to
e-mail please send me your new address by e-mail to me as shown below
I have also been asked by "brink" of this parish to act as an intermediary as she also has some
"interesting" things to mail to you. For good measure you should also copy the e-nmail to Matthew Bullis
and hopefully arrange for your friend to print out and pass on to you any replies we might send you

the 3 e-mail addys you need are:-
me at fowlesjohn@hotmail.com
your future chauffeur brink (Debbie Brinkley) at brink@rkymtnhi.com
Matthew at MatthewBullis@runbox.com
Hoping to hear from you sooner rather than later
PS Walter
1.If you reply to me (either by e-mail or leaving another message in my guest book)only would you mind me passing your new address on to Debbie
2.Can you give me your correct surname in case the mailman has trouble finding Walter Lamont!!
3.If you would also be willing to divulge your esteemed telephone number (assuming you have a telephone in your new abode of course) I could give you tinkle to verify what I intend sending to you
Cheers John Fowles

Hey "B",

Speaking of that time you were away, you mentioned a budding romance. How's that going ?

OK "B" I got your message. I suppose moving down a floor saved a bundle on moving charges but surely at your stage of life you should be going up towards the penthouse??
Anyway you did not say that you objected to my passing your new address on so I'll e-mail it to Brink (neither did you yet comment on my suggestion to use your friends e-mail facilities). Meanwhile and as soon as I get my printer and CD burner sorted out I'll work on something for your delectation
