Have you ever been in a scary event like this and a Gord song poped through your head? I wasn't feeling optimistic at the time,(a few minutes ago) but I couldn't get "Too Much To Lose" out of my head.

The only relateable bad situation I had was with my former girlfriend (I hate the term "ex".) She and I are good friends now but when she found someone before I did,I was still hung up on her and for no particular reason than this,"It's Too Late,He Wins" ran through my head. Only appropriate I guess. (sigh) Oh,well,I've moved on since. Later!

What does a tornado and a Gord song have to do with being Catholic?

Rob1956,
As one of the practicing Roman Catholics on this board let me 'splain this one. DMD3 typed "poped" when he meant to type "popped". John Fowles spotted this and thought it was sorta punny, I did too but it was John's joke. As you may know the Pope is the head of the Roman Catholic Church.

Exactly Bill I couldn't have said it better myself although I might have been tempted to add that the Pope popped out because he was
pooped. To answer the topic:
Not recently but I am sure I was scared when I was a little boy by what "mama said". Or later when skiing when it was 10 Degrees and Getting Colder

Yes.
It was when I evacuated, jeeze still a hard word to write, and I was sitting in front of a friends computer about 100 miles away from home and I saw a burn map of the San Diego fires. The former BF lives in the foothills outside SD. The line "I'll do it although I'm not supposed to care" came into my head. I emailed him. I needed to make sure he was all right not matter what had happened between us.

On the way to Toronto in 2001, I topped the crest of a hill in the town of River De Loop and there in front of me was the St. Lawrence Seaway, with a big red freighter out in the middle. Guess what song 'poped' into my head?
