Hi Karen
Yes Mende Joveski is one of the three members of the Melbourne Mafia who are also Lightheads. the other two are (catman)Ron Chidgey who often posts here and Peter Treloar who often posts on the other message board the currently quiescent Newsgroup at:-
http://www,newsgroup.shorturl.com
Ron also is usually on-line around 11 am Melbourne/NSW time on a Saturday morning
(9 pm on a friday here on the US West coast) and joins in our weekly chat room sessions although he has missed the last two weeks. I put up a weekly reminder with the link on my "highlights" topic at:- http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002411.html
So why not try to make it this coming Saturday.
One day I am hoping that young Mende will make it although he usually claims to be studying or partying then (or more likely trying to track down yet another Oz fan known as the free ranging "P" for Penelope)but that's another story!!
John Fowles
Do people in Australia call the rest of the world "up over"?

G'day Karen ( and Welcome )

I hope things arn't too wet in Ballina, like Joveski, I also live in Melbourne, but unlike the "old" 27 year old, I'm old enough, and I guess fortunate enough to have been able to see Gordon perform in 1974 in an old tin shed we call Festival Hall, he has certainly only been here once, although recently when he performed in Melbourne Florida, he did mention that he was happy that it wasn't Melbourne Australia, not because we are a terrible place, but he is not a great fan of flying.

Bill, you know killing and skinning those Roos takes time, so I'm usually a few days late with my response.

Karen for the chat room please see John's web page, which gives easy access.

John, it's horse racing season, so it will be a couple of weeks more before I return, a poorer but wiser man..lol

Keep Smiling.. Ron. :0
