Speaking of the Sanderson Centre, it suffered some smoke and water damage during a huge fire downtown over the weekend, the buildings next to it were completely destroyed

Three points here: One of my older brothers turned me on to Gordon Lightfoot back in the 1970's, although he doesn't follow the recent stuff. He has lived on a boat-house near Seattle recently, so I sent him the Boat House song, hope he liked it. Point 2, my favorite song on "Painter" is "Uncle Toad," it's a great song. 3rd point, Dan Fogelberg is about to appear on PBS's Soundstage, in 45 minutes Pacific Time!!!

hope you friend dug the song hmm, some folks live above their boathouse or ON a houseboat, i've never heard of someone living in a boathouse, but they're great to go down to and hang out...there are some real old beauties with character up in Muskoka and out in the 1000 Islands, love 'em!

i'd choose Harmony 'cos i prefer the richness of Gord's vocal pretty much throughout, and the whole production just seems warmer, less crispy...but i treasure APPT, including the cover tunes...oh, i also prefer the instrumentation and the odd solos on Harmony (with the exception of the one on No Hotel)

i'll be loving Harmony...til they carry me away

Yes Brink I did videotape the Dan Fogelberg concert on Soundstage. He and his band did a terrific job. He's beginning to resemble Terry Clements, maybe they're the same age. I'm unable to duplicate videos here. Check your local listings, say, on your local PBS website, you may yet catch Dan's concert.
