I'd agree...although there seems to be lots to set off an arguement in the bathing area. Bad aim, neglecting to lower the seat after bad aim, squeezing the toothpaste tube from the middle, leaving hair trimmings, using the man of the house's razor for legs, running the hot water while your mate is showering making it cold....the list goes on and on.

Yes, soft furniture all the way...and soft carpet too. FYI: Soft carpet is also excellent for pratfalls as well!

Ya know, it must be a guy thing. Pushing people's faces into toilet bowls. Show of hands, how many women here have had that done to them or done it to someone else?

Okay. Now show of hands for the guys.

And can I just say, if my new state of the art low flow toilet is an indication, it's an idea who's day has come and gone. It's hard to drown an ant in that thing let along get someone wet.

Yeah, it was part of the charm when I was twenty. Now I just want someone who can read, write full sentances, spell, is gainfully employed, single and a non workaholic. If there's a bad boy out there like that who can give a good foot massage send him my way.

Well, see, to a man, if it's been flushed recently the toilet IS clean. Most of them don't know what a scrub brush is for or that the yellow ring around the bowl isn't supposed to be there. Which brings us to Wanderlust's comment about bad aim. Boys, if ya know ya missed, CLEAN IT UP!

At my last place of employment, there was a wonderful sign behind the toilet. It was in Swedish of course, but it read something like, "Now that you have peed all over the floor, kindly clean it up and flush before you wash your hands."

That would be me, she deserved it and I don't feel one bit bad about it. She got the swirly, my husband got the divorce, before the birth of our son. I really enjoyed the swirly, I think I would get a 10 in water sports on that one.

Moral or the story? Don't screw around with a pregnant woman's husband, and then after you get caught don't run into the bathroom to hide.

Soon after this topic appeared I decided to search for a copy of one of the Lightfoot bio's and found a great copy of "If you could read his mind". It was only $22 plus shipping.

After reading the book my admiration for Gord, his music, and his drive to get to where he is, went straight up. Sure, there's some negative stuff in there but who doesn't have a bit of bad history in their past? Besides, all that turmoil made for some great songs.

I'm not sure a new biography about Gord would make the New York Times best seller list here in the States but in Canada, given his sort of recent rebirth, maybe, just maybe folks would be interested. Don't know.

I had no idea he was such a Canadian icon during the 60s, at least that's how Collins paints it. There are a few copies listed out there costing around $45. I also found a few copies of the other bio by Gabiou but it's way to expensive, nearly $100.

So happy to see all the folks here who share my terror at having my feet touched. My daughter thinks I'm crazy, and thinks it's hysterical to pretend she's going to tickle my foot. NOT FUNNY!! So nice to know I'm not alone in this.

The Rumblers rythm guitar player (known for his whammy-bar intro to BOSS) had the ugliest feet on earth.

When we'd be at the beach and a fine girl would stroll by, we'd make Mike bury his feet in the sand.

And no way I'd ever touch 'em.

Included with the "Songbook" collection is a very nice booklet with lots of biographical info in it. It was worth the money for that alone. It does not, however, contain the "toilet" story. :D
