Hi Dee Doo, Susan, first time we made a connection. I guess Sir John is off, or you just said, "My turn." Very glad to get to chat with you. You seem like a pretty nice person. Especially for what you and John made the papers for, back in (2000??)
All the best to you both. For me it's No to New Brunswick, NJ. But New-Brunswick, Canada, next April it seems, should be a Yes, if it ever happens. They have that posted on Wayne's site, for about 2 months now. And it still says;
Atlantic Canada, April 2007, 5 show run being put together, details to follow...Jesse.

Yah, there you go Charlene, A little Mission Impossible. This recording will self destruct in 5 seconds. :D
Susan the Theatre in New-Brunswick, seats how many people?
I wrote to BC Fiedler, to try to convince them to book The Capitol, beautifully renovated, to it's 1922. In Saint-John, NB. It would be The Imperial, and Fredericton, The Playhouse. All 3 restored to when they were built. Playing those instead of your local hockey Coliseum. Much better sound. Would probably be sold out also, which would please me, and him Im sure.
Dont know what will happen?...Jesse.

I was extremely pleased to see Susan posting her first message about such a tremendous chance for all you (NY)City types to get out into the wider world by coming to "our" New Brunswick concert in just four weeks time. woo hoo!!
as more encouragement here is the very nice promo postcard we received yesterday (this is the same picture, ex APPT, that was being displayed here a while ago from a SoCal area publicity site)`

John Fowles
I am assuming the "celebrating 85 years" refers to the Theater not the "imgination at Play" genius!!
John Fowles
If anybody reading this is going could you please contact me by leaving a Personal Message for me .

Just great, these old renovated theatres, are quite enjoyable to attend a concert, of any kind. But to see Lightfoot in there will be a great experience to both him and his audience. 1800 seats, is it expected to be a sell out?
Probably more people in New-Brunswick NJ, than in Moncton New-Brunswick.
The Capitol in Moncton isn't has big, but judging from the people he drew, last he was here, it would be a sell out.
Maybe there studying it because of the info I sent them. And maybe he wont come to Moncton. Like 1 stop in each province. Lets say Saint-John NB. Halifax, NS. and Charlotettown, PEI. And ST- Johns NFLD.
Or if it's like last time, he will play Moncton, Saint-John, and Fredericton, New-Brunswick. But in Hockey Stadium being 1/3 fulled.
Reason for that is, they would probably, have to elevate the ticket prices, for the smaller theatres.
I know they have at The Moncton Coliseum like what they call, The Concert Bowl. You can see it at the coliseum site, looks very good, but isn't the real thing. They put a long black curtain at centre ice. And when it's all set up it looks like a theatre atmosphere, that holds about 2500 seats.
We will just have to wait and see. I myself wouldn't mind paying more, for tickets and see him at the Capitol. I saw many concerts at The Capitol, there's no comparing the two...Jesse.
www.capitol.nb.ca
Click on English drop down, click floor plan, and then click on concert bowl. you will see it bigger.

They may try to play the original venues for that leg of the tour.
Did you have tickets taht you've saved from then?
The cancelled November 2002 Massey show tickets were honoured in May 2005 but November 2006 ticket prices are considerably higher in price.

Jees, I had never thought of that, Charlene. I dont know anyone that would have saved those tickets. But it was announced at the time that you could save your tickets, or have your refund.
The tickets would be honored at a later date. But 4 years, people must have thought, it was over, he would never be coming back.
At that time in 2002 they were using the entire Coliseum. Like they did for Willie, and Dylan, and a lot more.
In 1990, he sold 900+ tickets, in a 7500 seat coliseum. Can you just imagine that? It was depressing for me, as Im sure probably not interesting for him.
These days if you checked the Coliseum Site, the mini concert bowl, looks a whole lot better, seating about 2500.
If he is to come to the Coliseum, and they only sell 1000 tickets, I myself would much rather he not coming at all. Im a true fan, that looks out for his happiness, before mine :D ...Jesse.
