I'm a little behind. What's wrong with his hands?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with his hands. Stop teasing. They are the most beautiful hands in the World!

The original "photo of the day" is simply a picture of Gord's hands, which almost as expressive as his voice (but easier to depict, right?)Ring finger right hand nail looks longer than the others but I'd need a close-up for a better look, and how obsessive can we get, people? <g>

Watchman,
Technically isn't that "river fungus" ? since he picked it up on that trip where you rescued him ?

That's what he gets for roasting his pet canary over his Zippo.

At the risk of getting blasted, Gord looks
to be frail. He looks thinner than any picture I have seen of him. I hope his
recovery continues to go well for him.
Perhaps he will gain a few pounds back.
I do hope to see him in a live performance someday.

No blast from here, Titan. Reporters and others had been calling him frail-looking for some time BEFORE his illness. He's not very big to begin with and as a runner didn't have a lot of flab to spare - great muscle tone but no love handles. Add months in hospital and probably a less-than-hearty appetite, yeah, the thinness shows. However, so does the happiness. He just needs to fatten up (more than a few pounds) before the next surgery to give him something to fall back on.

Jenney,
I agree but I have seen Lightfoot in Marilyn's Pet Shop on Boutlier St. in Toronto buying several canaries at once. Not sure if he is an avid bird raiser or just stocking up on snacks.

It is the holidays. One has to be prepared for drop by company.
