Some of you may be interested in this if not ignore it please.
a long while ago I discovered Pee Wee's own site when he was with the now defunct home.com
I have just found a print I made from his old site and after googling found he still has a site at:- http://members.rogers.com/music12/
There is a gallery with two pics of Gord including this one captioned:-
With Gord in Dallas, Texas (1976)
plus this interesting old pic showing Pee Wee a much younger Mike Heffernan Dean Parks and Terry Clements when he still sported appreciable hair!!

John:
Cool! I had no idea that Pee Wee Charles was not his real name! And I've also wondered what became of him since his days with Gord. Thanks for the link.

I should have added that if you click on the "touring" link you will see this pic of what appears to be a familiar figure
Bear with me I enlarged the original to make it easier to see

The most recent thing I found about "Pee Wee" Charles on most websites is that he appeared on "A Painter Passing Through." Sorry folks!
However,go to a site called Dr. Jack's:The Lightfoot Page and see said Dr. in a photo with Gord that looks like it was taken around the time of Endless Wire. Pretty cool! Later!

Well "B" that may be so but on his site there are details of an album Pee Wee made after 9/11/2001.
And I just happenned to be reading the local TV guide to check on tonight's stimulating offerings and
found that "peewee" was used in a description of one film.
I had previously never thought about what it meant or its derivation so I looked it up on http://www.dictionary.com which says
"One, such as a child, that is relatively or unusually small.
[Probably reduplication of wee.]"
Funny surely that would be wee wee or is that something entirely different??
Or does reduplication mean "taking the piss?"

Ok the easy one first. It is definitely a LearJet I am not familiar enough wit the multiple varieties to know which actual
model might be a 55 as below
Next whose was it?.I seem to recall that in the great Spenser Liegh BBC interview in 1999 Gord was quite defensive about his use of private jets to fly to and from Toronto when Spenser intimated that Gord was some sort of plutocratic jet owner. So peresumably this the one on Pee Wee's site was hired
when I worked for Rolls-Royce Canada in Montreal I was primarily an engineer/rep.
For two years I was one of the R-R Service Representatives at the Air Canada Overhaul/repair base at Dorval
specialising on the R-R Tyne
a mighty 5000 plus HP turboprop that powered Air Canada's Vickers Vanguards and the Montreal built Canadair (Now Bombardier)
CL-44 freighters
. So no I never actually built any engines
Finally
the picture on PW's site shows 2 gentlemen by the Learjet
To me it looks like Gord on the left but is the other man Pee Wee or Barry Harvey(I only saw PW once (London 1981)

I was hired by Lear Jet in 1979 to build their aircraft in Tucson, Arizona. Well, I wasn't employed long as my husband received orders to Chanute AFB Il and being the devoted wife I am, we went to Illinois.
Is the RR plant in Montreal a large plant? One day I hope to visit both of those places.

Re: Ed Ringwald a.k.a.Pee Wee Charles
I Googled Pee Wee Charles who is from Kitchener Ontario, and found that it is not his real name. I did not know this. On pedals Steel, ladies & gentlemen Ed Ringwald...
The Googling also brought me to this thread started by John Fowles, 01/21/2004.
Nice pic of the Lightfoot Lear Jet...
I wonder if he still owns this one, and if it is named after something ?
