i have a closet for an office. really, it's 5 feet wide and about 8 feet long . i monitor routers and web servers where i work.

i usually plug in a GL cd and this morning it's Gord's Gold I. my most favorite is CRT. i've listened to it a thousand times. and to this day, i still get a chill up and down my spine by this lyric and melody. it's as near to perfect as i can imagine.

i had those awful flourescent ceiling lights in here. i took those out, put a small desk lamp in (low wattage) and bought clear xmas lights. the xmas lights i have wrapped around the room.

anyway, with the low lighting and listening to GL, the ambience created is a perfect way to watch all my routers

Listening to GL at work is sometimes the only thing that gets me through the day! CRT is a great song...I love to sing along with that one...I actually know all of the words!

Hey, with all those little Christmas lights twinkling, shouldn't you be playing "Song for a Winter's Night"?

Ambrose,
Sounds like a cool place to just chill with GL music. But, I must fit in where Oma works, it is quite noisy and an industrial setting. So, I am glad to hear some people can manage their world...I will vicariously enjoy it from your description.
