I'm a taxi driver by profession, anyway last week I installed a CD player in my cab and lastnight I had Waiting For You in the deck, had it playing at a moderate level and I picked up this middle aged passenger and she was obviously humming along to it...she said" is that Lightfoot?" I said yup... showed her the CD and said this one is out of print. She thanked me for playing something that didn't blow her ears out and handed me a 5 dollar tip . I asked her if she had heard he put out Harmony, she said ya but she hasn't heard it yet.

germangordfan This really is another Gord. He has a Gordon fan website too.
Good going Gord. You might push Harmony to the top singlehandedly.

I have played the rarities discs, except most people who aren't diehard Lightfoot fans wouldn't know they are rare songs. Other artists get popped in the deck as well... I must have got 15 dollars in tips lastnight. The deck itself cost about $114...

Good idea though Joveski

You did indeed reply to my original posting as (unregistered) gordon lightfoot but I saw a typo and as I had posted unregistered could not edit my posting therefore I registered that name for my own future use and then in error after copying my reply to my clipboard I deleted the reply instead of merely editing it hence when I posted back my original tongue-in-cheek comment it was out of sequence. I must try harder in future!!!
