You know that special compilation tape that you've put together from various Lightfoot albums, just for the road. Share your song list from your favorite home made tape with us and maybe we'll try your special blend for our collective selves.

This is going to be a tough one. I've made so many over the years; some of "road" songs, some of sad songs; I've made Samplers for people who didn't know his music..and on a lot of my tapes I'd record the same song a few times in different spots on the tape
because I didn't want to ruin the tape! and a lot of the tapes are so old...I think one of the earliest ones I have are from '78...of course, every time an album came out, I not only bought the album but the cassette too (where available), just to have it...sick, huh?!!

I never listen to him in the car.I also don't like to compile tapes.(sorry).
Original albums at home, with every track listened to,
in their original order,at a certain volume,is how I gain most satisfacton.
(Interesting topic though...)

Frank...Are you still tracking vinyl? I'd think you'd be hearing a lot of Rice Krispies by now.

I do the same thing! Sprinkle in my favorites
over & over so I don't destroy that rewind button! And they're Tattoo, Song For A Winter's Night, On The High Seas, If It Should Please You, That Same Old Obsession,
Whisper My Name, and some others on an hour long tape. Usually I have 'em fast then slow,
etc.

Midnite Misty...I should have known, you of all people would mention another absolute favorite of mine that I keep forgetting to list...On The High Seas....and Song For a Winter's Night is like in a category almost by itself, it shares with CRT and Pussywillows Cat Tails..Tattoo...Whispers of the North..LAMS...oh no, here I go again..

CMDJ,
Thats fine.
I'm not anti, compiling favourite songs from different albums on the same tape.
Just not, with a favourite artist like Gord.
