I myself have never been to a concert. I may not get to attend one until at least 3 to 4 years (surely he will still be touring by then). It's going to be a little scary but great fun meeting all the corfidians in person...

3 - 4 years, Ducaire? What, are you in prison?

You haven't revealed where you reside Ducaire but if you are anywhere near California, Ontario the North East or Illinois I expect everbody would agree that there is no time to be lost and I certainly would not wait 3 or 4 years to see Gord unless you are otherwise engaged or detained??!. We had a big scare just over two years ago and I for one plus my wifew will be trying to see him as often as possible. indeed the reason I am over here was that in 1997 not having been able to see Gord in the UK since 1981 I determined that I would have to come to North America to see him again (as I said at the time "before he and I get too old").Now back to the topic's subject. I have recounted a few times here how priveleged I feel I am to have been listening to Gord's music for nigh on 40 years guess that makes me a very old geezer indeed!. Yes My ears first pricked up way back in 1966 and I got to see Gord in May 1967 in the New Penelope coffee bar in Montreal. then saw him again in 1968 then twice in 1969 before going home to a bleak Lightfootless England

No, but I might as well be. I live nowhere near California, and I won't be able to drive all the way to Canada until I get a better vehicle, or better yet, a new engine in the one I already have.

Hey, today's my birthday! My first Gordon concert was I think in 1981. He was at "Melody Fair" in New York. He wore a denim outfit. Denim blue jeans with an embroidered pink rose on the bell bottoms and a matching jacket with a pink rose. When he first came out he told everyone how happy he was to be at "Musical Fair". If I remember right, he kinda got booed cuz he goofed up on the venue, but once he started singing everybody kinda forget about the announcement about where he was. I made my sister take me. I even paid for her ticket and gas $. Afterward she said that the concert was REALLY good and she was surprised that she knew sooo many songs. If she would have known ahead of time I wouldn't have had to pay for her ticket. OH well, live and learn. I saw him again in Williamsport, PA in April 2002. He was still great!!! Looking forward to his August concerts in Pennsylvania.
