What's wrong, SH? Do you need some cheering up?

Ok, I'll scoot over there and sing "Beautiful" to you!

(But I can't sing. I sound like an alley cat with asthma...)

Hi Charlene - - 'Beautiful' written just for you! I am consumed with envy - and I thought the 'moi' at the end of you message was just a signature.

I just took the quiz too! 10 for 10!!!

The only one I had to really think about was The Edmund Fitzgerald question.

I had to go through 1/2 the song in my head until I hit the line,"Superior it is said never gives up etc. etc....

The question about which movie doesn't have his music was easy. I've seen "Love Story" and remembered it had none of his songs.

Hope I get a CD out of this! Later!

I did the quiz too and got all the questions right. But on the final page it said "Congratulations, you got 1 right and 0 wrong." Did anyone else get that or did yours say you got 10 right? Just wondering and hoping there was not a technical glitch. I'd really like that autographed email album.

Sorry I didn't pay too much attention, I just remember 0 wrong. It could have said 1 instead of 10.

Sorry also-I just took it-all correct (yeah!) But I kind of think it said that-"you got them all right" as opposed to "x right and x wrong." You'd think I could remember something I looked at 2 minutes ago, wouldn't you? (This getting old busines...)

Interestingly
Last night one chatter Peter (gman) from PA
came in whilst listening to Folk alley on-line. At the time apparently they were playing "Flyin' Blind", followed by
DSMMN by Charlie Christian folowed by DQ by the Country Gentlemen
John Fowles

Well, the contest is over and they notified winners by email sent last night (11/30). There was nothing at all about it at their web site and I started emailing them today to find out the results. They had said to check their site starting on 11/29, and I had been doing that.

Turns out I was one of the winners, but my email was still in my spam blocker folder, which I had not checked this morning.

There were 1301 entries, and 53 with 10 correct. With 10 prizes, that's just under a 20% chance of winning if you got them all correct. I know several other people here had 10 correct. Any other winners?

Gee. This is the second thing I have won in my life. The first was a 25lb turkey, in an IBM cafeteria raffle in about 1975 ...
