I'm not totally sure, but I think I've seen him at Massey 9 times now, plus Denver, Boulder, Cheyenne, Casper, and Grand Junction, so that's 14. I still wish I could have talked my Dad into taking me to see him in Denver in the late 80s. At the time he wasn't interested. However he and my brother were with me for the Cheyenne and Boulder shows in the late 90s.

This topic inspired me to sit down and list the dates of all the concerts I have attended. I still get a chill when the house lights lower.

It all started April 27, 1979 in Minneapolis with the song "Summertime Dream." And it has been a kick ever since. After 26 years, I still can't wait for the next one. I kept set lists of all the concerts and Wayne Francis has posted them on lightfoot.ca website. Most of the concerts have been in various venues around the Twin Cities but my concerts have also included twice in Duluth, MN (2000 and 2002), Superior, WI (1995) in an outdoor ampitheatre very near to where the Edmund Fitzgerald was last loaded, Sault St. Marie MI twice in Sept. 1998, Bayfield, WI in a July 1999 doubleheader in a tent with temps in the 90's and three straight nights in May 2001 in Toronto's Massey Hall.

Just received the tickets to concerts # 28 and #29 in Aurora, IL in August. My wife isn't a big fan but as long as she gets "Song for a Winter's Night" one of those two nights, she will survive.

Gord didn't make it to Minnesota for 2005 which is surprising since he is very popular here. Bodes well for 2006 that he will probably be in both the Twin Cities and Duluth again on consecutive nights.

I, too, have taken a more complete inventory.

The final figure: 'Leventy-Six

Hello, first-time post here. I've been fortunate to see three shows - Hamilton, Canada 1987; Massey Hall 1990; and his "comeback" concert again in Hamilton in November 2004. Looking forward to Gordon's Live 8 performance ... let's hope some TV outlet carries it in its entirety!

Are you serious?!? Any idea what time of the year he'll be here? I am already making plans for Massey in November of '06, but if he's going to be in Minnesota, I'll be there too.

First one was in November (10th, I think), 1974 at John Carroll University, in a suburb of Cleveland.

Cannot remember how many concerts I attended, but I can remember some of the cities.

Cleveland (many, many times), Erie PA, Hamilton Ontario, Toronto (7 times), Columbus Ohio, Toledo Ohio, Nashville Tennessee...

Thanks for all the reports from the Massey concerts. Wasn't able to make it, but your posts made me feel like I was there.

Wes
