It's hard to tell how tall people are on stage, cause your looking up at them...I'd guess he's in the 5' 10" range...Terry seems alot taller...anybody really know?

I would say 5' 10", although
in my mind he must be 10' tall.

I was lucky enough to meet and talk to Gordon a year ago. I was so surprised to see how short he is, which, for the record, doesn't make me love him any less! I'm 5'4" and had flat shoes on and I was looking straight at those eyes!

I don't care if he'd be the size of a junebug. I'd put him in a little box and keep 'em forever!

Isnt it interesting how us women think he
is 6ft tall?!? I used to swear he was 6ft
then I met him again after 20 years last
May and I was stunned at how had he shrunk in
height. He is probably 5'9" but to me he
will always be 6ft.

To me he's at LEAST 6 feet; he's probably tall enough to play in the NBA.
[but to me he
will always be 6ft. [/B][/QUOTE]

I met (and kissed -- yes, on the lips -- Wow!! -- a long one, too!!) him in Saratoga, NY in the mid to late 70s, and Gordon seemed to be 6'. As we hugged, I believe my chin was a bit above his breast level, and I'm 5'4". He was wearing the rust colored leather jacket he was photographed in for the *Endless Wire* album. My friend took a photo of his face from the side as he was getting into a car. I have to find that photo.
Somewhat more recently, I was within 2 feet of him in '90 or '91, and he looked quite a bit shorter; how much shorter, I cannot say. He was also so much thinner. I remember thinking how small his butt (Pardon me. I had to check it out. To me, the man has always been an Adonis.) and legs appeared. Anyway, the man will always be bigger than life to me. To date, he's "As Fine As Fine Can Be." I love Gord. I'm going to try to join the Friday chat if I can. Here goes.
