Nice review, Jenney. Your brother's comment about the band playing with a "casual elegance" is spot on. The Baby Got Back story is funny too. I'll have to remember that if Gord plays that at the Keswick Theater next Friday since Baby Step Back is one of my less favorite songs. Maybe I'll gain a new appreciation...who knows. Thanks for posting the setlist too.

Thanks so much for this Jenny. Loved the reference to the Pony Man gal there who obviously was on a Birthday roll. Great to hear Gord is out there again and making it happen. Cheers, Ron J.

thanks for sharing the night, guys, sounds great
love the quotes from rob weir article from last fall:
"it may not be quite like the old days, but one can imagine them for an evening. Lightfoot still commands the ability to transform an auditorium into a living room and to stir memories. Part of his repertoire is like a waltz through four decades of folk/ pop history."
i agree, rj, it's all good, perhaps gooder...obtaining the goodest seats one can get sure helps to appreciate their diligent work
" ...when I asked Lightfoot what someone who hasn't seen a concert in 20 years should expect, he insisted, "It will be much better. We've been working diligently to get the show as good as we can get it."
