Debs, how much of that Capt.Morgan do you have left?
Ah, My Dear Bru - for you I shall make a special trip to the liquor mart and purchase another flask for the two of us to share, I am sure I have emptied this bottle far too much to do either of us any good. I also drink this when I am being naughty in the chat room, ask Cathy.
One night to go partner - we'll make it!

Last night was a special show to be sure. It was nice to see Gordon Lightfoot back on stage for his first full concert in a long time.
It was nice to see the crowd give Lightfoot a better ovation than the ones I've seen in the past.
The show was a little short (1 hour and 12 minutes) but still sweet.
Here is the setlist from the November 28 Hamilton Place concert in order of the songs performed.
November 28, 2004
Start time 8:34PM
1. Spanish Moss
2. Let It Ride
3. Minstrel of the Dawn
4. Rainy Day People
5. In My Fashion
6. Harmony
7. Triangle
8. River of Light
9. Cotton Jenny
10. The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
11. Sundown
12. ? Where Will You Go ? (I believe that was a lyric in this song. If anybody that was there that knows the song that was after "Sundown" and before "Sit Down Young Stranger" please let me know here or PM me)
13. Sit Down Young Stranger
14. Christian Island
15. Couchiching
16. If You Could Read My Mind
17. Old Dan's Records
Encore 18. Early Mornin' Rain
Show ends 9:47PM (Total time 1 hour and 12 minutes)
And yes The Good Brothers ended their set with "Alberta Bound"

I recognize the line "Where Will You Go?" That's from "Farewell To Annabel!"
Gord, great review! I wish I'd been one of the "net" people that attended!
Y'know,if he doesn't get on this site,do you think he could be referring to the card i got him for his birthday last year?
I signed all the possible names I could and also wrote a short letter describing our site and how to find it. So he just "might" be here! That's sooo cool!

And I sent him a fan letter a couple of weeks ago and told him I'd joined this website, so I'm sure he's aware of us!! It was SO cool to be mentioned by him!! Warmed the cockles of my heart. All our prayers and best wishes that he stay healthy, happy, and perform as long as he wants to!!

He's been aware of us for a very long time, and many of us have met him. This isn't the first time he's mentioned the Net people. I believe he did it during one of his last Massey Hall concerts, where he dedicated Sit Down Young Stranger to us. Also, one other concert on the East Coast, in Torrington or Redbank, or one of those places. I don't know. We went to so many that they are all just kind of overlapping one another.

That is so cool, Cathy. Gee, I'm sounding very juvenile with all these "cools," but, hey, it fits the bill!! Gord is fine as fine can be.....

Cathy,
I was at both said concerts too. Cant wait to relive the joy of seeing him perform 'live' again in May. You remember what we planned to do at his first return Massey concert? Should we begin rehearsing yet?

This is great. I am so glad the concerts went well. did he seem his "casual" self?
I am so happy. When will his next concert performance be? And or where?
