Hi Folks,
Just got two tickets for Friday and Saturday nights at Massey this coming May, but they are from the 2002 concerts that never were. Does anyone know if I have to send these back to Massey to redeem them for this year's shows, or will they honour these tickets that say 2002 on them?

Hi Kenyon,
I believe if you check the Massey Hall website you will find confirmation that you do not have to exchange your tickets. They will be honoring the tickets for the same night of the week.(Wednesday Nov 13, 2002 for Wednesday May 18, 2005, Friday Nov 15, 2002 for Friday May 20, 2005 etc...)
See you there on Saturday night, StingRay

Right people,
The scratched record repeateth. I assume one of you , ( more than one is better again), are going to post a concert review ? I (and a number of the regulars in this site) are hoping to see a review of as many of his concerts in the upcoming tour as possible. Not just the concert though , add your own flavour- anecdotes , silly things, quirky stuff barely related . For example were you stuck behind someone who kept talking or seemed determined to block your view , was the venue good, bad or a not up to standard? Flavour of the concert as well as fact.
If you are clever enough to have a liking for this bloke's work you are clever enough to post something we all want to see....

Char,
Great minds think alike, LOL. No talking please, I'll ask politely one time. After that it's anyone's guess.

Man, the mail must be s-l-o-w in your parts if you JUST got the 2002 tickets
Massey is honoring the 2002 tickets, night for night (that is, the Friday night ticket from 2002 is good for the Friday night this May and so on.) No exchange needed.

Our Miss Char always writes a wonderful review, sometimes she takes a little longer than others and I would think that this time she might just have to wait for the "fog" (as in hangover) to dissipate before she can tell the tale of the Massey nights.

I have to wait for my "out of body" experience to end and then I can write what happened!
lol
If I drank every drink people said they were gonna buy me I'd be drunk for a month!
lol
These days my "hangovers" come from lack of sleep instead of abuse of alcohol. sadly.
ack!
