This was a wonderful concert and thanks Char and Lisa for sharing these great videos etc. with us.
Our guest, Peter, from Germany was here for this one together with his son, Benjamin. Peter had been introduced to Gord at the Orillia Opera House concert when Gord was there celebrating his 80th birthday and now connecting again.
Gord was in good form and he sure does a great job up there.
I'd never been to a concert in Mississauga before so it was a new experience. The Living Arts Centre complex is huge and hosts other events as well. The theatre Gord played was big and very beautiful and the sound was amazing. They were having a great time performing for us all and the crowd was very appreciative. Exactly what one would expect for a Gordon Lightfoot concert.
We're keeping a close eye on Massey Hall as the work seems to be going at a steady pace so fingers are crossed that Gord will be opening the newly renovated Toronto landmark sometime in late 2020.
Lots of excitement ahead!
