1 for some stupid and I submit entirely illogical reason nowadays posting the actual and obvious youtube URL(address) exactly as copied from a video's browser address bar no longer displays the video-it originally did.
The trick, as discovered by our moderator some time ago, and which to my mind is ridiculously redundant and should not be necessary is to "SIMPLY" remove the "s" after http which I will now proceed to do with my fingers crossed that the Bulletin Board will then behave itself let's see...
In effect you had really used
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6en7iqy8fg8
so if I just delete that first "s" this is what happens or not?
CHAR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 Here I know that I am on firmer ground with this point
If as you felt you did post something in the wrong place or simply want to delete a posting then provided you are signed in using the same identity as when you posted you can edit it (including complete deletion buy clicking the edit link under the posting.
You'll get a popup offering a choice :-
click it to get a further option popup

If you are then so bold or foolish as to click it Corfid gives you another chance to change your mind

If you can read it you select the delete message checkbox !! But do not waste time thinking up a reason because once you press the delete button your posting with any such comments will be deleted.
In fact if it is a thread that you started yourself the complete thread is deleted but note that if you want to delete your reply to somebody else's thread and if your reply had generated further replies to that thread the remaining thread postings could then look pretty silly and/or confusing !!
And might even include some quoted words of ours that you wanted removed from public view so think carefully about what effect your
action might cause inadvertently
