Default STROUDSBURG, PA - Apr.22-2016

RICK: Friday Night with a great crowd in Stroudsburg, PA at the Sherman Theater, for our first time there. First performance there was by Laurel and Hardy in 1929.

By the time we arrived that wording on the marque had been temporarily changed so that the top line now read "Gordon Lightfoot Fri" and Kane's name had had May appended. We had a reservation at the excellent French Bistro directly opposite but had to wait outside the theatre a while for the Bistro to open and saw one of the stage crew erect that ladder again.Later from our table we noted that the entire marquee now said just "Gordon Lightfoot tonight".
This is an unusual old theatre that features a pair of stacked boxes on either side of the stage and a long way back a rather small balcony that appeared to be sold out as part of the lively audience

Prompt at 8PM the band sauntered on

Saw the show at Stroudsburg PA and thought it went really well. Crowd was quite spirited, which always makes it more fun. It was nice to hear "Pony Man" again. We haven't heard him perform that for a few years.

^ Glad you got to attend this one, JBrew! Couldn't make to that one (first night of Passover - 1st seder - couldn't miss that). Hoping for some dates closer to Philly that don't conflict with major Jewish holidays!
