Sitting here at my laptop working away on the biz of being a college professor, I slipped on headphones and opened up Summertime Dream. Wow! Took me back to high school when I first noticed Gord and the countless hours with headphones on running those LPs over and over. It is all too easy to concentrate on daily grind, and come here to read once again how Lightfoot's voice is a reedy shadow of what it was.
