Boy, that article really brought back some memories. It's one I was able to find in the magazine racks back in the days before the internet, when I was starved for any word about Lightfoot, a singer/songwriter that only I seemed to be infatuated with. Ah.....the good old days....

And of course, his 12-string was not made in 1950. Kind of funny. His early natural one, and several of the sunburst ones were in the 1963-1964 era, and one 'burst is a later one (the one with the pointy triangles on the headstock is about a '67).
