that must have been devastating for loved ones (and worldwide followers) who had their hopes dangling for what must have seemed like an eternity...makes you realize further what slim odds were overcome in the Chilean event

not many may realize 2600 miners lost lives in China last year, typical in those parts apparently...although the Fitz became a well known disaster (with 'some' thanks to Gord), perhaps not many realize how extensive deaths on the Great Lakes have been over the century...in both cases, a horrible cost of doing business and a way of life that keep food on the table and families clothed
lt's hope for some feel good stories as the holidays approach...there's no shortage of feel bad stories in Toronto area lately (pedestrians getting hit with vehicles and teens getting hit with bullets, at record setting paces...)
