A few years back I decided to replace all of my worn Gord vinyls with brand new or mint replacements. And two each at that! Yeah, some call me a bit obsessive about such ideas that I get stuck on but I've got to tell ya, it was a blast! At the time I lived in Southern California, home to hundreds of used record stores. What I couldn't find in person I looked for online. So BJM777, your lost vinyls don't need to "eat your lunch".

Re: Your Set Of Casettes
East of Midnight was probably my favorite....put them on CD. I always make back-ups just in case.

Re: Your Set Of Casettes
I never cared much for factory cassettes. I'd much rather have made my own from LPs. Factory cassettes just seemed too likely to not have their alignment match up with my tape decks quite right, plus if they got eaten, they were gone. With home-made ones you could make as many as you want.
I think the only ones I ever had were DQ and a couple copies of SALUTE, which I got a couple of years before the CD came out thinking a Dolby cassette would be better than an LP to make a CD from.

Re: Your Set Of Casettes
I still have all the 45's, 33-LP's, 8-tracks & cassettes that I had when I was a teenager. I don't have any of GL's commercial cassettes, back in those days (1970's-1980's) I recorded vinyl onto cassettes, to be heard on the tape decks in our pickup trucks as we went camping.(Also the boom-boxes) I do have two 8-tracks, Gord's Gold & Summer Side of Life, and the 8-track player still works.
