i don't know the first thing about her except some time ago i agreed to a romantic comedy rental and she was kinda fun and seemed like an all american gal type...a bit skinny...sad

i guess my eyes had a Freudian slip and read the headline as Spears at first....Jackson, Woods, it's been that sort of year

jjo, i have no reason to point to drugs as she just may have had a naturally bubbly, scattered personality...it will all unfold...it just seems that with it being the festive season and the timing following a Saturday night (perhaps a boosted allnighter) well, that was an initial reaction...i also read that her and her adored mom packed up from east coast to go Hollywood years ago, sounds like a made for tv movie in waiting but with a sad and familiar storyline

i threw in the diabetes comment because somewhere i read that her mother had said this in reply to an ask as to why she had the gaunt face and large eyed look ...could have been a clashing prescription drug issue also, getting commonplace

if you watch from 4:50 on, pretty whacky stuff, lol, it seems like there could have been a small videocamera attached to her for her real life events and it would have made for a Lucy like sitcom...seems she had a bit of the Drew Barrymore, valley gene...btw, i do like the brunette look...

maybe her ex-fiance will have to come by again and in tribute, decorate the home for her mom and try salvage some joy

update: ok, obviously speculating on causes of celeb death is a ridiculous investment of time and leave most looking like fools in the end, i'm a prime example ....that said, this could be H1N1...flu like symptoms and caridac arrest...i just may have been "right off the money", jessie...ok, back to our regular programming

I wasn't pointing to her directly jj, mather of a fact I didn't know anything about her before I first read your post about her being gone.

Simply that a lot of celebrities are dying too young because of some of the reason you posted. Money & fame sometimes to some of them must be really tempting.

I dont have to mention any names, just watching CNN and it is often "gone too young," tragic deaths.

But I will repeat what you just posted, "back to our regular programming"

The only thing that I have on my mind about her, though, is how are they planning to do about her character of LouAnn Platter on King Of The Hill. I've never been a real big fan of the show myself, but if they plan on keeping the show going, then they're going to have to find a replacement for her who is as good as, if not better than, her. Otherwise, they'll have to write the character out & then try to explain theirselves. What a dilemma!

I really only knew her work on King Of The Hill also.

I'd heard her name many times over the years but never really knew who she was at all.

I had heard months ago that FOX was going to temporarily revive KING next year,maybe they already had these completed?

Her LuAnne character was great and even though animated,she go to play this role for nearly 13 years. That's a lot more than some seeking fame ever get.

I know she'll rest in blissful peace.

It is always very sad when one so young dies.

I cannot help but wonder why she married Simon Monjack, he left several women sorry they ever crossed his path here in the UK before he headed for the US.

But Ms Murphy seemed to be happy with him
