Q263 .... dead... = Canadian Ralroad Trilogy ? - correct! Congrats Char
We all know that painful moment in concert where Gord sings:
'Many are the dead men.....(pause)' - and the inevitable smattering of people
not very familiar with each and every song of Gords....claps too soon...
Lightfoot seems to allways take it in stride without letting it effect the song's
magnificence. He finishes then 'too silent to be real' and all is well again.
But one good thing besides the song and Gord: It means quite likely that
there continue to be new fans, or fans attending their 1st concert- both
.....good things. Either that, or of course they might be total dumba88es lol...
Char I'll post your win with Mende's in the x-files....
Thanks for playing.

Re: GL Lyrics fan(atics) fun quizzers and more !
Some help for everyone on the last remaining clue, and a reminder of which one it is. The 2nd clue I'll give here is not necessarily a word or word(s) from the song, but maybe just a thought that might elicit the song title in your mind.
If this remains unsolved thru tonight and tomorrow evening I'll nuke it and move on to 10 new songs.
The last clue to solve in this set of 10 is:
Q256 .... each day - Remains Unanswered
2nd clue: Frequently, maybe even all the time looking at the upside of things due to knowing this lady, and the two of them as a pair are somewhat akin in ways to that of the pairing of two eagles. References to lots of light, allthough the term used for it is more a metaphor for the 'upside' of things. I think I've just given it away.....lol...but thats OK.
Have fun

Welcome to the game...Tom ? Forgive me please, but I can't keep straight yet which Tom is 'thomasj157' versus oTJ...versus, well, the minor variations I have seen for both 'Tom's' ! A visiting dignitary in either case !
And I am not being a gratuitous sycophant on that. I am truly honoured that you, as a member of the team that has produced the magnificent ..works of art.. in your vistories that compliment Lightfoot's work so wonderfully, came in this thread and played the game.
Well, you're here to play the game, not talk shop I'm sure; so lets go ahead on focus on that. I'm talking to myself this time of night in my basement 'office' i.e. a mess of bills, pictures, post Christmas orts and the 'puter of course..lol. OK:
'Tseeer:
Q267 .... my darling = 'You'll Still Be Needing Me' ? Yes ! You got it !
I have to say, at risk of sounding more gratuitous, that I am impressed that you discerned the.... 'positional' nature of the clue words to the whole verse via the dots in the clue, as they are meant to assist you just that way. If you only knew how much ribbing I have taken when I introduced them, and a good 100 posts thereafter ! A visual and conceptual aid is all they are, and you nailed it ! I'll post your winning per your 4lane moniker. We often informally post user's real first names at times when they don't mind, such as 'Linda' from the player screen name 'Oh,Linda!' (the song, of course), and RM we know as Ron informally, etc. But as I am probably the only buffoon who does not remember which Tom is which, I'll post your winning below as
4LaneStudios.
Thanks for playing, I hope we see more of you in the game ! I won't trouble you with vistory questions while you seek recreation in this game; especially what with the current ....propietary difficulties... . So kick your shoes off, put your feet up, and ace my questions more like you just did. I can't seem to make 'em hard enough for the regulars.....down to just one-word clues, and they still will at times blow-away a ten-Q array in 4 hours !
I am informally geo-steve, or Steve, versus my arcane geodeticman.5 lol.....
So, charting on the 'X' -files:
BIG 'X' As you'll recall, indicates that the given clue is won and done.
================================================== ========

Q274 Out on .... X Joveski gets it with 'Somewhere USA'
Q275 Paper .... X Joveski gets it with 'I'll Tag Along'

And we have a new contender amongst the regulars - 4LaneStudios to welcome into the game !
Enjoy ! 6 down, 4 to go !
