On March 31, before this video was posted, I had two mourning doves like those two sitting on MY deck railing...and they were back yesterday..quite good friends by now I might add..
lol
very distracting while I was trying to watch tv..and at 5:30 a.m. when I am trying to sleep through their cooing..lol

Maybe it was just my imagination, but years ago when I had a turntable hooked up, it seemed that when I played the my BeeGees albums, their music would attract birds.

We have a lot of that sort of bird here, and I think that they sound sweet. And while i'm thinking about it, I saw a news update on the red-tailed hawk called Pale Male & his mate, and while they once more had no hatchlings, one of his daughters did produce some offspring. I think the reason what happens to him matters to me is that it's a beautiful thing to see such a bird in flight, and the fact that he's hung tough for so long in the same place makes him a kind of mascot for many.
