Default Pampered pooch !

Pampered pooch

Published Thursday April 10th, 2008

Pixie, a 1-1/2-year-old Maltese sits in a pet stroller yesterday during a walk with owner Linda Lirette and her miniature Schnauzers T.J. and Molly on Shannon Drive. Pixie had surgery on her back knees and is only able to walk short distances at a time so she enjoys the long walks in the stroller.

Dogs in a stroller are not that unusual in LA, even if the dog has no excuse for not walking. Must be the Hollywood thing.

That's good to hear Kerstin, they deserve it. Doggies are the most lovable animals that will give you much love in return. Way to many are mistreated. I would never hurt a dog or any animal for that matter. "Leave the animals alone"... Quote by: Box Car Willie.

What a great song!
Cat Stevens is one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters...he's probably the only guy I can think of that can make a song about loving his dog sound romantic....lol.
Thanks Jesse Joe....as always, good stuff.

Kerstin, our dogs here in the country have to walk most of the time. My dog, Pepper, is a Black Lab and she loves to ride in the car. She used to love riding on the four wheeler with the kids when she was younger but she can't do it anymore.

She's laying here at my feet....what a sweetie.
Yes, I love my dog....lol.

a friend in Sarasota has her 3 mini Yorkies in this stroller when she goes to the mall..one like sto lay in the basket below the seat..
lol
they have numerous outifits/Swarovski crystal collars, booties/raincoats/purses etc. She spoils them terribly now that her boys are older. One is a 'rescue' dog from another state..She's very very good to her babies..

A doggy's world ! Makes me laugh when you go at a drive thru like Macdonald or Tim's, and the car in front of you has a dog in the back seat eagerly waiting, for he knows he's gonna get a treat from the person at the window. Especially funny when it's a big dog. You see that tail wagging, he gets his treat everytime, and then he's happy.

They DEFINATELY deserve to be spoiled. We recently adopted a cute little chihuahua/terrier mix & despite his habit of chewing on some things, as well as stealing dirty socks & hiding them in his nest, you couldn't ask for a more loving dog. He lets you know how much he missed you by practically wagging his tail so hard that you think it's going to fly off. And if you pick him up, be prepared to be drowned with puppy kisses because he will try to lick you to death.
