Question About A Wonderful Man !
To Char or anyone who can answer this. I just got a PM from a good Corfidian asking about me not attending Massey in May.
It got me thinking, has "Florian Bodenseher", that we hear very little of, and who owns this wonderful Site that we all use, ever came to Massey Hall for those magical Gordon Lightfoot concerts ?
This is a very generous man in my book. Im sure "Gordon Lightfoot" would be happy to meet Mr. Wonderful...
From now on I will refer to him as " Mr. Wonderful". Just like Gord is " The Poet Genius."
Thanks !

Re: Question About A Wonderful Man !
Jesse Joe,
You seem to be a good "searcher" so try looking for the post. I can't remember what year but I do recall a story about him coming across for Massey at least once. If memory serves ??? he came with a family member (father ?) and had a nice time. I also recall that he vanished in the blink of an eye after the show ???. I also recall some posts being removed after only a few of us die-hards had read it ?? Maybe a privacy concern ?
Anyway at my advanced age my memory sometimes blends fact and fancy so I may be thinking of an old movie, LOL

Re: Question About A Wonderful Man !
Florian was over from Vienna in May 2001 and was like the wind! lol
..we met at Massey, I was thrilled and then he disappeared. After the Massey dates a lunch date we hoped for didn't happen but we are always in touch.
I haven't heard that he'll be over for Massey this year. He did attend a west coast show a few years ago..
C'mon home Florian and come to Massey!

Re: Question About A Wonderful Man !
Thanks a lot for that info BillW. He is for sure a fascinating man. I will try to find something but like you said, " also recall that he vanished in the blink of an eye after the show ???. I also recall some posts being removed after only a few of us die-hards had read it ?? Maybe a privacy concern ?"
Anyway thanks for the reply, it is much appreciated.

Re: Question About A Wonderful Man !
I posted that from the Honda dealer. Needed a minor repair done and I'm off work today. On the way back I said "maybe I should delete that post" since I am not clear on the details of what, why & when ! However you guys beat me to it so I'll let it stand. It snowed today so I took a detour to check one of my "running routes" to see if I could safely navigate some miles on foot today. Looks like I'll be pounding the ground today, hope my ground shaking strides don't frighten the woodland creatures, LOL.
I think of that old story as one of the "corfid legends". You can believe it or not...

Come to think of it you and Florian have never been seen in the same room so it's possible you and Florian are the same person...!

Exactly and I'm sure it was easy enough to fix, LOL. They replaced a bulb for the brake lamps.
It's got almost 130,000 on it so far. I need to trade it in !

Provided that that's mostly highway miles, 130'000 is just getting it broken in.
