Terry C, Rick, Barry, Mike others......
Thought I'd give the workhorses a little recognition and start talking a little about Gords bandmates. I personally think Terry is not given enough credit as to all his chord licks and lead guitar work. I think he does a lot of the actual song creation in my opinion. I know Gord is a rythmn guitar man but Terrys stuff is really amazing. WOndering if any of you have talked to them ever? I had an hour and a half talk once with Rick and Terry after a show. They were both very nice and Terry was rather funny. In fact he ended up drinking the rest of my bottle of wine I had. They all both said they really enjoyed working with Gord and that he liked perfection. Terry says he gets together with other musicians for jam sessions in and around Toronto or whereever he lives. Anyone know any specifics on the songs as to how much Terry has actually created in each song? I would think Gords just leaves it open to the lead guitarist to create his riff etc. Thats typicall with most bands.
Mike and Barry were always too in a hurry to leave the concerts when I've seen them..just a quick hi and outta hear!
Ever see Rick do his "walking Bass" routine? Its an inside joke among the band and sometimes you will see Rick just walk across the stage toward Terry which usually results in a chuckle from Terry and sometimes Gord if he happens to be looking back. A "walking bass"is a pattern (lack of a better word) in which the notes flow fluidly like a walk...but the joke was always "rick walking across the stage" anyway..........
Cheers to Rick, Terry, Barry, and Mike!

Gord would be talking about a song and the part the bass played in it and that it was called a 'walking bass' and Rick would take a jaunt around Pee Wee or over by Barry while Gord was talking..Gord always found it highly amusing..
