great try catch up and read John Stinson and co thread regarding vintage venues
I'd say along with Massey, the Sanderson centre was a real treat, superb mix and acoustics that night, very audible from 5th row and wonderful restoration, especially ceiling work

wish I'd seen Gord at the old now crumbled Tivoli in Hamilton, nearby where we gathered for the Gord's comeback special (glad he didn't dress like Elvis) ...I got to see Sarah Harmer play there shortly before it caved
I realize these venues are "new" compared to older spots in New England and the old country
one sis came down from Orillia last week to see born again opera house in Toronto, not bad
oh, John Stinson, I agree about live harmony....funny, but studio wise, basically, the only Gord album that has no harmony is called Harmony

...but I realize it's his first guitar type
