I'm thinking of sitting here and recording the audio on the fly.... I haven't seen anything about it being on TV... but if all of us Lightfoot fans flood the CBC website tomorrow night, chances are we won't be able to hear it online.

Hmmm I think a DVD recorder is in my future LOL

If anyone can tape this off air, I would be willing to shell out some $$ to have a copy. I just found out I'll be working when the show is broadcast on CBC! So no Lightfoot on Friday night for me. Boo hoo!

I don't think it's gonna be on TV just CBC Radio 1, I think you will find it available in the Lightfoot archives in the not too distant future.

can't everyone listen to this worldwide?
http://www.cbc.ca/audio.html#

they may show bits on cbc newsworld television like they did with family farm tribute (although that may have only been because they were taking pledges onscreen, which they could have setup for this also, no?)

why don't american tv cable outfits pickup our cbc? it should be syndicated so we can reduce our taxes! ctv aint too shab either

jj I agree, I would rather pay for CBC than HBO or Cinemax. I would gladly pay to Canadian channels. I asked Direct TV they said nothing in the near future.

Yep, I'd love to have Canadian Stations with cable or whatever. Tomorrow the CBC radio one on the web will have highlights from the concert on the last part of "fresh air". I got the radio live but I can't get the concert live?? Sooo, I guess I'll go to it tomorrow and listen. SIGH. Maybe I should just move north...

I'm listening to it as well, I have high speed cable and sometimes it gets choppy.

Hopefully they don't leave GL til the last I gotta get up at 3:30 am LOL

Never mind I think that's what is gonna happen, the lesser known musicians play first then as the night goes on the known ones begin.

I'd love to go to the concert, but Peterborough is too far off for a teen with no money to drive.

Apparently GL did 5 songs.... CBC only broadcast him doing " Let it Ride" and IFYCRMM.

Anyway I now have these 2 songs captured live... I will process them later into MP3's.

Hopefully CBC will add the other 3 songs to their archives.

I'm in Edmonton but was able to listen too, thanks to jj!!!

I'm so happy to hear that he did 5 songs. He must be feeling well. The radio DJ said it was an emotional performance, I bet that's on both the audience and the performer's part...

so cool, yeah really, proud is a good word to describe the feeling over that few minutes... happy the Hawk sounded well also

acoustic let it ride, what a treat, the band can retire as far as i'm concerned, lol

he looked so great also, they showed a snippit of him playing IYCRMM on cbc nw, hopefully that wasn't just the tv adding a few lbs

it was only a sham if you're a jason mccoy fan, lol...didnt' hear anything from him (yet)

some dude said it was great to be 10 ft from Gordon for 5 songs, hmmm, will have to check fresh air, like lsm said... i think they may have done EMR together, but i could be wrong (again )

the feeling's NOT gone, and he HAS got it back... whew ...glad folks got to listen also

Did the Lightfoot band play too, or was it solo?

city tv will also show some wee footage at 11, it's affiliated with cp24 so check here:
http://www.pulse24.com/Front_Page/page.asp

click on the watch cp24 live button for feed, i think it loops over 30 mins so you'd have to refresh... however peering at a 2 inch window on the monitor aint quite 'live' but it's still quite absorbing, i've left a nose print on my monitor

ok, where will the man suddenly appear next week? guess the venue? guess the tunes?
'guess not, lol
