Hi, everyone! I have been away for some time, but this news is some of the best I have heard in my lifetime!!! Thank GOD that Gord is not only on the mend, but feeling strong enough to perform - and SOLO!!! If any of you are musicians, that is the ultimate performance, as you have no one, and no other musicians to lean upon! Guess who I am nominating for a Grammy?
My best to all,
Sean

welcome KL, I think we must be getting an influx of new people due to the new CD. You will love it here!

I was at Mariposa to see Prairie Oyster perform. What an extrodinary treat to see and hear Gordon Lightfoot. He looked good and sang condidently. As I looked around I could see the respect and love people had for him. I am sure the performers who sang in his Tribute where equally surprised. Great pictures here Thank You. I used all my film and was kicking myself for not getting a picture of the music coup of the year.

EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!!! j/k

Whilst ploughing through some archived stuff after checking up on fezo's web site I found this topic which I thought relevant seeing as how Gord will be at Mariposa again next weekend

Now that's actually what fezo looked like 11 years ago but I'm more or less the same. Less hair; more weight......

I can offer you a sweetheart deal on the CD.... I only have maybe 300 left under the bed. I did actually make a tiny profit on it which stuns me to this day. I need to make another.

I have no idea what this has to do withthe topic but I'm not complaining...
