In case you missed it - catmanron is back - and he is the winner of the contest I started in 2002 ? Long time ago , anyway I will be shipping his CD to him ASAP. How about a round of applause for Ron ?

Bill

P. S. Sorry to the runner-up but fair is fair.

August 21st,'02. Oddly enough, only 15 days after I'd seen Gordon in concert (hmmmm..maybe I should've been on here then).

I congratulated him in the previous thread but "Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap! !!!" Whoo-whoo! Been me,way to go Cat!

Thankyou Bill, for your generosity.

I'm over the moon about this, as Joveski said it will be Christmas before it is available in the shops here. ( we are very much a Gordon "who" Country here. ).

I can't believe it, I have trouble picking a winner in a two horse race..

Johnny Fowles told me I had won something, but you know what John's like by the time I got to the twenty third line of his message I had fallen asleep, and was too busy thinking about my Vacation to take any notice, fortunately I was able to wake before it was too late.

Thankyou Bill once again, and thankyou Border and Joveski for your congrats,

Keep smiling all..Ron.

Ron,

I just came from CDUniverse and Harmony will ship to you on May 10th via Priority International (shipping cost more than the CD,LOL). Please be so kind as to let us all know when you receive it and, of course, what you think of the music.

Congratulations once again,

Bill

Not so Ron You obviously are unable to count (your blessings)
Here follows the entire content of my deliberately unverbose and succinct response to the Newsgroup thread in honour of your umpteenth birthday
"Yes indeed a Very Happy birthday Ron
(and if you are reading this in Western Australia get your butt over to corfid pronto as you are in danger of losing your prize as the best guesser of the release date for harmony!!!
Cheers
John Fowles"
So you Aussie offspring of unmarried parents, where are the other 17 bloody lines then??
All the best to everybody

Thankyou Brink for your congrats, your right Bill is on the top of my "Good guy" list.

And I do appreciate John alerting me to my good luck. ( he tried a number of times, and it wasn't until he hit me with a heavy blunt object, did I realise what he was talking about. ).

John, the only mistake you Brits made was to send us Convicts to Australia. If you had any sence everyone else would have gone to Australia and left England to the Convicts.

Keep Smiling Everyone, have a great weekend ( see you in Fowles's chat room. )

Ron.

Bill, my copy of Harmony arrived today.

Great excitement !!!!

It was also beautifully wrapped.

It is now a very well travelled CD, it was posted in Sweden, ( sometimes you just have to wonder, but not for too long... lol )

I'm now off and singing and looking for the "no" hotel.

Thankyou once again Bill, this is just great.

( I'm certainly smiling ) Ron

Ron,

That's great. I was starting to worry. It shipped from Val's state of CT which is on the east coast of the US. Routing it through Sweden was a clever way of slowing it down,LOL. Enjoy it - you won it.

hey joveski,

so did catmanron, ROTFLMAO......

I can't believe the thing took so long. I could have bought it at the store and taken it to the post office myself and it would have been quicker. Sweden ??? What were they thinking.

Ron & John,

A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks, I love 'proof'. It's such a rare thing these days, LOL.

Bill

P. S. Now I can stop picturing Ron with one of those big knives skinning 'roos and such...
