Brit Lighthead Gathering?

There has, at last, been some interest in the idea of a UK get together (see the
'What's all the excitement about' thread (p.2). So all your Brit lurkers, show yourselves, please. How many would be interested and willing to join in?
Before we take it any further, let's get some numbers.

For all of you who are really interested in this event: Al has 'offered' to make enquiries about a suitable venue near to his home (a pretty village close to Preston).
How many would be willing to make the trip ?
We could plan it over a weekend, fit in some sightseeing of surrounding areas like the Lakes and Chester and Blackpool? With jam sessions to be arranged?

I stayed there in September 2002 - it is BEAUTIFUL and the perfect setting for a Lighthead gathering!!! Just make sure no one gets "my cottage" Alan

As much as I'd really love to go, I need to start saving my vacation time for when a certain someone crosses the pond to visit San Diego next year

Hello to all of you in the U.K.! I hope you all get a chance to meet - sounds like you will! Wish I could be there! Do any of you know of any retail stores that do not have HARMONY stocked? Obviously, it would be easier to ask multiple store "chains" to add it to their inventory. Would it be easier if the CD has more airplay? If so, I know several of you are calling/emailing stations, but could I help in any way? Are there many internet stations tha would take requests from "across the pond?"
