Is this a good song? I just got finished reading the lyrics but I don't know what the song sounds like. The lyrics seemed a bit funny, and I just wondered what you all thought of this song.

both floyd and lightfoot versions are great.

ligthfoot's one is a rocker (relative to the rest of the DSR album)

"Hey you" Dunkin (and anyone else missing the clips on Val's site), as part of my research for a project I found that cd universe have nearly all(*) Gord's albums listed with 30 second clips of each track
the DSR list is at:- http://www.cduniverse.com/productinf...cart=192236458
* they do not have the out of print WFY and Gord's Gold 1 nor the bonus tracks on the Bear Family Sunday Concert Plus

Hey You is a great up-tempo song...and features a rare Lightfoot use of steel drums.

Fine. Spoil my fun by telling him they're two different songs.

I think it'd be really cool to hear Gordon do Pink Floyd's and P.F. do Gord's!

(Pink Floyd onstage:"HEEEY You!" "My angel in blue..... ") (Dye hard audience:Boooo! BOoooooo! Get off the stage!!)

Gord did this song a number of times in concerts in the early 1980's. It was one of those songs that dropped out of the set lists after a few years.

One of my first GL concerts was Oct. 2, 1981 in Minneapolis and you can read the set list on Wayne Francis' website. GL started the concert with "Hey You" and immediately went into the Edmund Fitzgerald.

John do you by any chance know David Jirasik? I can't remember if he is in Braham or North Branch, went to school with him in Cambridge (back in the day).
