Did anyone else see this story last week? Sure gives the story of "Ode to Big Blue" a factual case. These whales live a long time and are resilent.

Pretty incredible. Whales and turtles, and a few other animals live SO long. They transport you back in history.

Speaking of "Ode to Big Blue" reminded me of something Gordon said at a concert at Universal Ampitheater in the mid 70's.... does anyone else out there remember this? Someone in the audience shouted out a request for "Ode to Big Blue", to which Gordon replied that he didn't like to sing that one anymore since "Big Blue has become a Brillo Pad"

Hi Kathy who is really number one,

I was there but don't remember what people were shouting. All I could hear was Gordon. You have a wonderful memory. :D

Catch ya on the flip side.

Do they still make Brillo pads?
Are they really blue?

He did it regularly in 1999, and thereabouts. It has a decent chance of coming back I think. It wouldn't hurt if we asked for it.
