A lot of folks underestimate LP's,when the music from them isn't appreciated in the radio & retail market. Speaking not only as one who likes GL but also likes good music and who knows it when he hears it,every GL album is worth a listen for one reason or another.
The inability of LP's like,Summer Side,Don Q. and Old Dan's to produce any top 40 hits makes them look asa if they're not worth buying. Another thing that didn't help was the invention of the "cut out" bin in record stores. That's when low selling LP's have the corner cut off and are marked down to about $1 or so. That made folks think even less of it. I used to think the same way but now I know better. Hopefully Restless,you've chacked them all out and know what all of us here know. Gordon is just plain terrific.
