Thanks for posting this. Short and sweet article. I always like it when Gordon mentions the folk music revival. There was also a great revival of folk music in the early-mid 90's...with the likes of the Indigo Girls and Tracy Chapman, etc. Now I look at the names listed for the Newport Folk Fest and barely recognize any.

They should have included "Elvis & many many more too numerous to mention."

I live in West Central Illinois and would love to go to this concert but it would be an overnighter because I live so far from Peoria and I have other obligations in the middle of the week. If it were a weekend I would be there! I've never been to one of his concerts.
