Leaving Soon :(

Well my days here are numbered as I am leaving for Ohio in less than a week to go work on an important archaeological excavation. I will be joining a crew who have been working 12 hour days, 6-7 days a week. Staying in a motel room (no roomie) and since I'll be there until the end of Nov...I'll be bringing along some things from home to decorate my room. Maybe even some photos of Gordon and the band . And I'll bring my guitar along of course.


To everyone planning on the upcoming concerts....have a great time and I'll look forward to reading up on reviews!!!

Good luck & have fun. Have you looked into getting a refurbished laptop ? You can usually get a basic model fairly cheaply. And even Motel 6 has internet connectivity these days either hardwired or wifi. Just a thought but whatever, enjoy your time away !

Looks like you kids are stuck with me for a little while longer!!! I'm not heading out until a week from Wednsday !!! I'm a bit antsy and filled up this week with everything I need to do to get done. So now I'm having to plan on something to fill the 3 extra days next week!!!Gee...I could have gone to California for 5 days hehe.

Well that's ok I keep finding things to pack and other things I can do, places to go. Wish I could travel more lightly, but I need to bring stuff to make meals too. Important small appliances like my beloved air popcorn popper and coffee maker . So more time now means I'll find more things to bring!! But I already decided to keep it down to one bin and one suitcase (and my guitar).

Oh and I will have a laptop -my friend is giving me her old one . I have to go to Massachusetts to get it and didn't think I'd have the time -now I do. It may need a little updating though.

ok...I'll be around here

Tonight is my last night on corfid and looks like I'll be back sooner than I thought though...mid-November!

Just a quick hello..I arrived at my hotel an hour ago and it's beautiful, sunny and mild weather in OH. Nice drive out here...relatively easy. Good music for traveling -GG II and Harmony...but mostly I was a Rach-head. I LOVE Rachmaninoff's greatest -NY Phil w/Bernstein is the best .
