I'm not surprised with the price... he's been off the road a couple of years... hopefully the Massey tickets won't be that much.

Char,
It's more than a 100% markup from the price they paid. But it's a good sign, I think, if they expect to sell them at that price. And someone looking for tickets in July or August will probably pay the price. Can't wait.

Surely this price cannot be correct.
Bru,
This link takes you to a ticket "re-seller", do you have those ? They buy tickets to everything (football, baseball, concerts, opera, etc.) and then they mark them up and sell them again. The "original" price on those seats from the box office would have been $45.00 dollars US. That's how they make their money. I have used them for baseball games in Baltimore when I wanted to sit up front - can't get those seats any other way - unless you own them.
So that's not the "original" price. I paid 45 dollars per seat from the box office.

Hi Bill,
Does this mean that the concert is sold out and you can only get tickets from the resellers? There is a teeny tiny chance that I might be visiting someone in Philadelphia around the time of the concert...

Hi BJ,
As of now, 7 months out, the show is far from sold out. Ticketmaster is showing tickets in row R with plenty to go. And if TM has tickets that means the Box Office does also. But I wouldn't wait until August to buy tickets. I believe it will sell out by the date of the show. The "scalpers" or "resellers" or Ticket Agencies, if you will, buy the better seats when they first go on sale.
Hope you can make it.
Bill
